What to expect!
An investment in a photo session with Kira Petersen Photography is one you should cherish for years to come. That is why it is extremely important to me that we connect to ensure I am the right photogrpaher to capture your vision! Your story is unique and your photography should reflect you. My approach can be considered by some as 'spontaneous' and I often work with clients who want non-traditional photos, enjoy having fun, are all about letting the creativity flow in a truly organic way and who do not mind bending the rules or taking some risks to get 'the shot':)

Before your session
​
When you’re ready to book, give me the green light and together we will find an available date on my calendar that works for your/your family. You will receive a Questionnaire so that I can get to know you/your family better and get a feel for what is important to you - after all - it is your session and your expectations are my priority!

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to complete the booking process. Once I have received your Questionnaire and your deposit has been paid, your session is officially booked! I will be happy to chat further via email or on the phone (if you live in Aarhus we can also meet for a wine or coffee:) to answer any of your questions, address any concerns, provide you with tips on what to wear, agree on the location etc

About your session

What is an in home lifestyle session?
Your session is a time for you to relax, be yourself and allow me to capture connection, emotion and you in the most natural & beautiful way so that you have memories & moments frozen in time forever. As I focus more on documentary lifestyle I will spend time with you/your family in your home, photographing activities & traditions and we will just have fun together. I I am a minimalist when it comes to photography so you generally will not see me dragging around a lot of big & bulky equipment as I love then let things naturally unfold - thereby being able to really encapsulate the essence of each session in its own special way. believe in play and prompts over posing, however, sessions will include both semi- posed and relaxed images to capture your relationships in a genuine & authentic manner.

What is an on location session?
Kira Petersen Photography offers custom photography which is different than your typical walk-in studio approach. 'll work with you to get an idea of the look and feel you'd like your family's images to have and we'll combine that with fun environments and a comfortable setting. On location can be the forest, the beach, a picnic in park etc - any outdoor place that you and your loved ones enjoy spending time!

After your session
​
All of my sessions include digital files and a print release. You will have access to a private online gallery (Pixiset) within two weeks of the session date, where you will be able to preview and select your images - download available only after final payment is made. You will also be given the option to purchase professional quality prints and wall art, albums & photo books directly through me.

Weddings though are personal and each one is different -what you want is unique and individual to you! I am happy to take an informal chat to find out if we are a good match:)

Bookings for weddings will require a signed contract and 30% of your session fee is paid in advance to secure your session date, and is non-refundable. However, it is transferable if you need to reschedule

All of my sessions include digital files and a print release. Every session will have an online & private gallery (Pixiset) where you can select your photos (2 month access) -ready within two weeks of your session date . It is the customer's responsibility to download all photos before the expiration date or a re-activation fee will apply. Note - I only store photos for up to 1 year.

With all photography I reserve the right to use photos from the session on my homepage, blog, social media and for advertising, unless another agreement is made.

Additional digital photos can be purchased for 125 dkk a piece or 50% of the price of your session for upgrading to the entire gallery!

Professional quality prints and wall art, albums & photo books can be purchased through me.

Price does not include the delivery of any raw or unedited files.The Photographer reserves the creative rights to edit and release only those images deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the photographer’s artistic standards. RAW images are unfinished images and will not be released.
